As of today i-Babble has been available on the WP7 marketplace for 1 week. In that short time we have had a massive amount of people register.
In all we have 261 users. Of these 186 are male and 75 are female.
During the last week I have had 1 update (v1.3) go live to the market place and v1.4 has been certified and is awaiting Microsoft to publish the update to the market place for you all to use. These 2 updates are mostly minor fixes with some small features added.
Originally i-Babble was created to be a purely real time messenger system. However after some analysis during the 1st few days it became apparent people were using it to drop someone a message, close the app and then come back 10 minutes later. Obviously with such a small window of time it appeared no one was using it. So it was decided that after 15 minutes of the user closing the app their status was then set to away. Then after another period of time they are set to ‘offline’ whilst offline they don’t appear in the search results page.
Hopefully by this time next week v2.0 of i-Babble will be available for you all to download. This update should hopefully improve how you use i-Babble, include some cool new features and there may also be a competition!
