All systems are go(well almost)

It’s time to open the beer here at i-babble HQ. The application is almost in the windows phone 7 app store so it’s a very exciting time.

Over the next few days Microsoft will be certifying the app to make sure it passes all requirements, in the mean time I have put together a couple of question and answers to give you a better understanding of what i-babble is.

Q. Just what the hell is i-babble?

A. I-babble is a mobile app, exclusive to windows phone 7, where you can search, chat and make new friends (or maybe more) with people in your area. Or, to be technical, a location based messaging system

Q. Ok, I think I get it. But how does it work?

A. When you download and run the i-babble app you will need to setup a profile (it’s dead easy) then whilst the app is running your current location is uploaded to our servers. When you search for the closest people your location is used against theirs to calculate a distance. The closest 10 people to you are displayed. Simply select the person that takes your interest and say hi. It is important to mention here that your location details are NEVER sent to anyone and will never be used in anyway that will personally identify you.
